Sage green and evergreen are versatile design colors. Being the color of trees and plants, I feel that green can be incorporated into any room. These green patterns are made from carved and stamped blocks. They retain a lovely hand made texture from the design process.

This wallpaper would look fantastic in a bathroom or kitchen. Sea blue gives a room a serene feeling, great for any space you want to feel both happy and calm.

For this Burchfield study I wanted to explore his colors and shapes to try to understand how he creates such a strong feeling of nostalgia, and the passing of time using the strength and beauty of nature.

The dark charcoal gray wallpaper would pair nicely in a room with any other warm neutrals. The dark color has a grounding effect, and combined with the soft textures it would go great on the walls in any cozy quiet room like a bedroom, or bathroom.

I love surrealism and try to pull that feeling into my work. I chose a hare and some passionflowers to express the feeling of chaotic good, that bit of randomness that brings change and growth.

Dark pink is a great choice for the bedroom. It has energy but with the cooler tones still brings that calming aspect like you would get from blues or purples. My pink boho block prints collection would look great in your bedroom.

The dark emerald green would give a good kick of color to a dark gray or brown palette, or combine with coordinating patterns in shades of green for a bolder style.

This month I’ve been experimenting a little bit with process. I took this class taught by Marco Mazzoni and decided to try the process he shares with some botanical drawings.

Fall is my favorite season, and I’m finding myself more and more likely to want to fill my home with the warm browns, yellows and pinks of fall for the whole year. I designed this bedding collection with fall in mind.
