I didn’t realize how much I really love yellow until I started painting and noticed it was a color I relied heavily on. I especially like dark rich alchemist yellows, and they pair quite nicely with golden brown shades.

Here I’ve combined my butterfly wallpaper with a pattern I call riverbed made of abstract marks in navy blue on dark yellow, and a coffee brown watercolor gingham.

All these patterns are available for wallpaper, bedding and dining decor, in my shop on spoonflower.
