Oooh pretty pink. When using pink in your home it brings in a lot of energy, like red, but quieter. Pair it with neutrals if you want the pink to take center stage or add some greens and yellows to offset things a bit. Purple is the perfect color to create a moody sensuous bedroom. Combine lighter and darker purple in various patterns to create variety for the eye while avoiding a big blob of purple. The walls can be a soft gray, or go with a dark plum to really draw it all together. Terracotta and rust red are vibrant and happy colors. Reds are great for the kitchen or living room, where you want to be social and relaxed.
